Samantha Burris

     ¡Hola! My name is Samantha Burris, and I am a member of the May 2023 graduating class of Clemson. I am majoring in Language and International Health with a minor in Aerospace Studies. In addition to being a student, I am an Air Force ROTC cadet. Upon graduation I will commission into the Air Force as a Second Lieutenant. Although I will commission as a Combat Systems Officer, I will continue to practice and build upon the Spanish that I have learned throughout college. I hope to attain my Masters in Public Health as I serve in the Air Force. Once complete, I want to work in infectious disease prevention. 

     Through my college experiences, I have gained a wealth of leadership skills that I will continue to practice and build upon. I have held numerous leadership positions in various organizations throughout my college career. I am currently the president of the General John J. Raymond Chapter of Silver Wings at Clemson University. Through this position, I have exhibited passion, dedication, and resilience by rebuilding the chapter into a more reputable organization. I have helped the chapter grow 50% as president. This is just one example of how my motivation continues to lead me.
